"Your body exists in the past and your mind exists in the future. In yoga, they come together in the present."

Effortless Effort
An Iyengar Yoga Workshop with Teacher Olop
Patanjali Yoga Sutra II.47
Prayatna Shaithilya Ananta Samapattibhyam
Perfection in Asanas is reached only when the effort to perform them becomes effortless and an infinite being is reached.
The concept of “effortless effort” in yoga refers to the practice of exerting considerable effort and working hard to achieve different goals. However, according to Patanjali, the ultimate aim is to attain a state where effort becomes effortless, meaning that one can perform actions without sweating or feeling pressured to assume certain poses. This state ultimately leads to a sense of tranquility and unity. Teacher Olop will guide us through various asanas to experience this concept: “Effortless Effort” in this three days workshop.
