RAY LUI
Ray has been practicing yoga since 2004. With over a decade’s studying and teaching, Ray feels the benefits of yoga practice go well beyond physical improvement and fitness. The practice of yoga allows him to stay clear-minded, and helps him to better connect and communicate with others and also with himself.
Following Guruji's teaching, Ray’s class focuses on the alignment of the limbs to attain stability at the hip and shoulder joints, which will in turn bring the students’ awareness to the torso and spinal extension. Through proper and persistent practice, yoga helps to integrate the body, mind and breaths, allowing the practitioner to reach a state of internal observation.
Ray travels around the world to further his yoga studies with various Senior Iyengar Teachers. He also visits RIMYI in Pune from time to time to attend the month-long program.
