As a mother of two children, Clara has been looking for various natural remedies and spiritual enhancements since she became a mother.  Whether it is educating children or diet therapy, she hopes to get some guidance from them.


In 2015, Clara started to practise Iyengar Yoga due to an injury from dancing.  She has benefited a lot since practising Iyengar Yoga. Not only has her back pain improved, she found herself calmer, more aware of her actions, and more appreciative of living in the moment. 


In the class, the teacher may give props according to the needs of the students. Through the use of props, students can more effectively obtain the different benefits brought by the poses to the body.  The use of props also helps to prolong the time of staying in the pose, which not only improves physical endurance, but also improves sensitivity and insight.  Clara felt that these improvements helped her to have a better observation on her physical and emotional changes, which also helped her observe better the behaviour of her children. 


In 2017, Clara followed Ms Icy Lee to take the Iyengar Yoga teacher training course.  In the same year, she visited the main institute of Iyengar Yoga in India for the first time.  After observing a therapeutic class, she decided to learn Iyengar Yoga well, hoping her learning would be able to help those needed in the future.


In 2019, she began to teach yoga part-time, and successfully obtained the Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Teacher Certificate in 2022.


Clara’s classes are dynamic, interesting and encouraging.  She teaches from the perspective of students and explains in simple terms.  Just like teaching children who have just learned to write, there is no need to rush them to write perfectly at the beginning.  A more effective way is to gradually and patiently guide them, inspire their interest in learning.  She also likes to share with her students the positive effects she has received on all levels while practising yoga, which allows her to not only be healthy, but also strengthen her psychological foundation and give her a clearer mind.
