Annisa's first experience with yoga was traces back years ago when she was at her teens. Despite being a brief encounter; the good impression stayed with her.Years later when she was yearning to find some balance in her life being a busy executive, she rediscovered yoga and reconnecting herself with a deeper devotion, an open-minded approach and a better understanding. From there onwards, she never looked back, she only looking forwards to what yoga has inspired, emerged and escalated her life.
Her devotion to yoga extended not only as yoga practitioner, but also transforming into teaching. To walk through her path in yoga, she traveled to Risikesh, India to study with Karin O'Bannon, Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher. This completely revolutionized her impression towards yoga into different perspective. Practicing with discipline of Asana and Pranayama have grounded her firmly in creating a strong foundation for her teaching and facilitating a more powerful sharing with her students.
Annisa continued her journey and became a devoted student of Peter Scott, Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher from Melbourne, Australia – indeed truly a blessing being guided and surrounded herself by a great teacher in walking through her path. In November 2010, Annisa passed the exam in Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training and she is now a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
