Years of consistent yoga practice inspired Icy to quit the management role in a major Yoga chain to found YOGASALA in 2009.  The change has not only enriched her teaching experience but also allowed her to better share the joy of Yoga practice. She believes that practicing asana (yoga posture) & pranayama (breath control) with conscious observation & awareness not only improves physical health, but maintains mental stability that helps us to  face the turmoil in life with ease.

Under years of guidance of her teacher, Peter Scott, she is a Iyengar certified Yoga teacher. Her classes is a combination of  the technical aspects of asana and the philosophy behind the practice. She travels yearly to attend Yoga workshops to share and improve her knowledge of Yoga with teachers around the world .

Johnny started practicing yoga in 2005 and found that it was not only the physical aspect of yoga practice that is so amazing, but he also gained a deeper understanding of his body. He achieved a more restful mind state through continuous practice and a greater understanding of the nature and value of relaxation. He learned the importance of acceptance and the long-lasting benefits of sharing. In order to teach the great experience of yoga to other people, he started his teacher training in 2007 with Peter Scott, the Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher from Melbourne Australia. Now Johnny is an certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.

Bibi came to yoga after reading a book by B.K.S. Iyengar, Tree of Yoga, and amazingly found the home for her "self". Since 2008, she has been joyfully practicing Iyengar yoga with Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher Peter Scott and was inspired by yoga's ability to reveal the loving kindness of every human soul.

With the realization that yoga had become the focus of her life, she completed the Teacher Training Program with Peter and got the teacher certification to show her committment of studying & teaching of Iyengar Yoga.

Bibi has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years that brought her strong background in anatomy & body movement. Her gentle teaching style reflects her respect of individual needs and abilities of each student. She emphasizes the proper alignment for enhancing breathes quality & encourages a safe and joyful practice in every class
